HuntGo is a real-life GPS game in which players compete and work together outdoors. Think of the exciting cat-and-mouse game many people know from Jachtseizoen: fugitives try to stay out of the huntersโ hands, while the hunters receive new information through GPS pings.
But HuntGo goes far beyond just one fixed game. You choose where you play, create your own playing area, set the game duration and GPS rules, choose the roles, and decide which extra features are used.
This means you can use the same basic setup for a quick Hunt with friends, a school camp, sports team, family activity, company outing, or a larger event. You decide how your Hunt is played.
Every Hunt can be different
The host decides in advance how the Hunt will be played. This includes the game duration, head start, GPS ping interval, playing area, access, and the use of extra roles and power-ups.
With a Spy, one player gets an extra tactical role within the Hunt. The Spy may receive information or have a different objective from the other players, adding more excitement and uncertainty during the game.
A Game Supervisor does not play as a regular hunter or fugitive, but helps keep an overview and guide the Hunt. This is especially useful with younger players, larger groups, school camps, clubs, or organised events.
After that, everyone gathers in the lobby. The host can see who is present, who is ready, and when the Hunt can begin.
This means HuntGo is not just one fixed chase game, but a flexible GPS gaming platform that you can adapt to the group, location, and occasion.
Grow, earn rewards and make HuntGo your own
In HuntGo, you donโt just build Hunts โ you also build your own player profile. By playing, you earn XP, level up and work towards new badges, achievements and other rewards.
Achievements give you extra goals beyond simply winning a Hunt. Think of special accomplishments, smart gameplay, taking part in different Hunts or reaching milestones while you play.
You can also choose how you look. With the Avatar Builder, you create your own HuntGo avatar using different hairstyles, hair colours, backgrounds and other visual elements. New items can also be unlocked later as rewards.
This gives every player their own profile and something to keep coming back for beyond each Hunt: more XP, new achievements, badges and an avatar that becomes more personal over time.
